National workshop on “Future-Ready Energy Education: Opportunities & Challenges”

A workshop is conducted on July 09, 2025, at IIT Delhi.

First 100 ranked NIRF institutes and the institutes having academic programs in energy are invited to attend the workshop. The workshop aims to provide a dynamic platform to delve into the rapidly evolving landscape of energy education. Participants will explore critical opportunities, such as integrating cutting-edge technologies and fostering interdisciplinary learning, alongside the pressing challenges of curriculum development, teacher training, and keeping pace with industry demands. The goal is to collaboratively shape how we effectively prepare the next generation to lead us toward a sustainable energy future. Workshop features 3 keynote addresses, an Industry panel discussion and six breakout sessions.

Breakout sessions are carefully designed to discuss various issues related to energy education, pedagogy, internships, placement, research and digital education infrastructure requirements and divided in to the following six themes. Curriculum and Pedagogy for the Future of Energy Education
